Here follows a few practical bulletpoints about the LARP. If you have any questions, shoot us a message via the chat on your bottom right.

Type of LARP

This is a pre-written LARP in the Nordic tradition with fully formed characters. However, from the moment the character is in player-hands, they can take their story anywhere they want.

Sleep & Eat

The location itself has room for 20 sleeping players (and 8 for the tired, hardworking orga's). One can also find and book accommodation by oneself.

It's possible to buy snacks on location during the ingame time. But one can also bring one's own food, or buy from various pizzeria's around the corner. However, the doors are closed and "locked" during in-game time to not disturb immersion between the hours 18.00 and 04.00. What we mean by this, is that the doors should not be used during this time.

Playframe

This LARP is set in a speakeasy bar. Therefore the in-game time is from 18.00-04.00 - the bars opening hours. The LARP begins Friday April 11th at 18.00 and stretches over two nights till the de-briefing on location at 12.00 on Sunday April 13th. Location will be open for Check-in Friday at 14.00-16.00.

Safety

Obviously this is a LARP where there'll be sold alcohol, and authentic 40's drinks too! Every character has a tab at the bar, that players put money on before we go ingame. When your tab is empty, you will have to find ingame money to pay with in the bar. Either through gameplay or you can go upstairs and buy dollarbills at the check-in office. Every dollarbill is 50$ and counts as 50DKK. Any leftover drinks on tabs will of course be repaid at the end of the LARP.

To avoid excessive drinking every other drink you order at the bar will be a non-alcoholic one (free of course), but will look exactly like a real one.

There will be a social safety host present on location in in-game time, as well as a sober guard and a medic. The sleeping accommodations on site are approved by the fire department, and can hold 28 people. If you experience any discomfort or boundary crossing play or behavior don't hesitate to come upstairs and grab a hold of our safety personnel.
